Our Monchichi Shirt is a playful ode to childhood joy and craft, hand-stitched by the women artisans of Purkal using traditional appliqué and embroidery techniques. Made from soft, breathable 100% cotton, it features a brick red bold striped base that sets the stage for quirky, hand-appliquéd monkeys posing across the back.

Inspired by the colourful wooden toys of Karnataka, each monkey is hand-cut, appliquéd, and embroidered in vibrant hues that capture a sense of cheer and mischief. On the cuff, the maker’s hand-embroidered name stands as a quiet mark of pride, love, and craftsmanship.

Every shirt is slightly unique, carrying the warmth of handmade art and the playful spirit of the hills.
